1. What is the Kingfisher Training Academy all about?

The Kingfisher Training Academy is a gateway for aspiring candidates to equip themselves with specific skills required for the Service Industry.

A significant part of the training is focused on the nuances of appropriate behavior, norms & prevailing Corporate culture. Our Programs addresses the gap that exists today between an Educational Institute & the Organisation.

2. How important are soft-skills for the Services sector?

Extremely important! Out of every 100 graduates that apply for a Customer service position, only a few get selected. India has a potential workforce of over a million but only a small proportion meets Industry expectations.

Those rejected are either poor communicators, lack interactive skills or poorly groomed. At Kingfisher Training Academy the Program - Learning The Good Things - is intentionally set to nurture & guide the participants through the journey to Discovering Their Inner Self.

3. Is swimming mandatory for a Cabin Crew ?

It is not a DGCA requirement. It is therefore not mandatory.

4. Is foreign language a requirement if I wish to join an International Airline?

Most major Airlines do not have specific language requirement. However Regional language is preferred to facilitate the role of an Interpreter

5. How do I apply to the Kingfisher Training Academy?

Walk into any of our Academies and you will be taken through the following engagements:

1 .Counseling to establish suitability :

Academic Qualification
Physical Attributes
Communication Skills

b. Successful applicants will be issued with a Letter of Acceptance.

You are required to submit Proof of :
Age
Address
Education Status
Two recent Passport Size Photos

c. The decision of the panel is final and binding.

6. How do I register for Admission?

Your completed Application Form will be processed by our Pre-screening Panel and if you meet our Suitability Criteria you will be invited for an Interview. Based on the Panel’s assessment of your potential, you will be offered an Acceptance Letter.

You will then be required to pay the Registration Fee which helps secure your admission to the Kingfisher Training Academy.

7. What are the documents I need to submit with the application?

You will be required to submit the following documents only upon selection :
Relevant Academic Qualification Passing Certificate, Age proof & Address proof. We may require other documents which will be intimated at the time of selection.

8. I fulfill the suitability criteria but cannot afford the fee. Can I avail of a loan?

Flexi-Pay Plan
Kingfisher Training Academy offers all its trainees a “Flexi-Pay” Plan, which allows the Trainee to pay the Course Fee in easy and affordable instalments. Kindly contact your nearest KTA center for further details

9. Do you provide accommodation to outstation students?

Candidates would need to make their own arrangements for accommodation. However, if required, we can assist in identifying suitable accommodation.

10. How are the placement opportunities like?

At Kingfisher Training Academy we don’t believe that the job is done till it’s done. Our responsibility extends beyond the boundaries of the classroom and into the domain of creating pathways for you to realise your dreams.
